Dr. Pulak Agrawal has been a part of Valley Children’s since 2020. She is a neonatologist, providing critical care to infants in Valley Children’s Hospital’s Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the highest level of care for the most vulnerable infants with congenital or acquired conditions.

After earning her medical degree from Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences in India, Dr. Agrawal completed her pediatric residency training at Southern Illinois University School in Springfield, Illinois. After completing her pediatric residency training, Dr. Agrawal went on to complete a three-year neonatology fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine from Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. 

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Agrawal brings a robust academic portfolio. Her areas of research interest include effect of delayed cord clamping on the newborn brain and lung disease in premature infants. She has presented her research in oral and poster presentations at a variety of research symposia and conferences, and has published in peer-reviewed journals including BMJ Case Reports and The Indian Journal of Pediatrics
